We chose it because

Bicycle baskets were not the first product Wald invented. Rather, it had been a bicycle tire repair tool. But it didn't take long for Grandpa Ewald and Uncle Herman to recognize what a difference a bicycle basket could make. No one remembers exactly when or why, but one day Grandpa Ewald and Uncle Herman decided it was time to move on. Then, in 1905 after packing their bags, they boarded a train headed south. When they arrived on the banks of the Ohio River in northern Kentucky, they knew they had found Wald's new home. They were especially happy that it was much warmer there. If it was a worn out component on a bicycle, they always came up with an innovative way to produce it by accumulating patents for bicycle baskets, training wheels, kickstands, racks, handlebars, mudguards and pedals. Today those baskets are still the best that can be found on the market, all you have to do is choose the one best suited to your bike.
